The basic principle of lyophilizer is based on three state changes of water. Water is solid, liquid, and gas, and the device has three phases that can either convert to one another or coexist. When water is at the triple point (temperature is 0.01ºC, water vapor pressure is 610.5Pa), water, ice and water vapor can coexist and balance each other. In THE HIGH VACUUM STATE, USING THE SUBLIMATION PRINCIPLE, THE WATER IN THE PRE-frozen material CAN be REMOVED directly by SUBLIMation of ice state as water vapor without melting ice, so as to achieve the purpose of freeze drying. Products into spongy, no shrinkage, good rehydration, less moisture, the corresponding packaging can be stored and transported at room temperature for a long time. Since vacuum freeze-drying has the advantages of other drying methods, it has been more and more favored by people since it came out, and has been increasingly widely used in medicine, biological products and food. Biological products such as serum, strains, Chinese and western medicine are mostly bioactive substances. Vacuum freeze-drying technology also provides a good solution for preserving biological activities.
